Green Wave Watersports Cancellation and Refund Policy
- All lessons and rentals are non-refundable.
- Reservations require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations.
- Cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice will be rescheduled to a later date or issued a credit towards any activity available through Green Wave Watersports until the end of the Summer of 2025.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the total amount of the reservation.
- All rentals are subject to rescheduling or location changes due to inclement weather or conditions. We don’t ride if it’s not safe conditions.
In the event of unsafe weather conditions as determined by Green Wave Watersports, all lessons, rentals, and tours will be rescheduled for a later date. If rescheduling is not feasible, we offer a non-expiring credit. This credit can be used to schedule for a future date or for purchasing merchandise.
Yes, you must be able to swim even though a PFD (Personal Flotation Device) is provided. This is essential for swimming back to your equipment in case you fall off.
- eFoil: Participants must weigh 250 lbs. or less. We may accommodate riders up to 300 lbs. if they pass a fitness assessment administered by GWW. Note that larger riders may experience adjustments in ride times due to increased battery consumption.
- Paddle Boards: Participants must weigh 250 lbs. or less.
- Kayaks: Participants must weigh 250 lbs. or less.
- Tandem Kayaks: Combined weight must not exceed 500 lbs.
Participants must be 16 years or older and have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign a waiver.
Yes, parents or legal guardians can bring a child aged 3 or older on a kayak. You must provide a US Coast Guard-approved life vest for the child. The total weight on the kayak should not exceed 250 lbs.
Operators must be 12 years or older, have a signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian, and wear a PFD at all times while using the equipment alone. Adult participants must have a PFD on board at all times; wearing it during use is highly recommended.
All participants must sign a waiver, not just the person who made the reservation. For paddlers under 18, a guardian must sign their waiver.
No, only one person is allowed on our paddle boards at a time.
Yes, as long as all participants are the appropriate age and have a completed waiver on file.
We recommend wearing a swimsuit or quick-drying athletic wear. Don’t forget sunscreen!
No prior experience is necessary. We offer lessons for beginners and provide safety instructions for all rentals to ensure you have a fun and safe experience.
Your reserved time begins at the scheduled start time, so it’s important to arrive early to ensure you can enjoy the full duration of your time on the water.
Yes, equipment must be used in designated areas to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations. Our staff will provide detailed information on permitted areas during your rental or lesson briefing.
If equipment is damaged, you may be responsible for repair or replacement costs. We recommend treating all equipment with care to avoid any potential charges.

Yes, we have parking available for our customers. Please arrive early to secure a spot, especially during peak weekend times. It gets busy at the Buckroe Beach!
If you are late, your time on the water may be reduced as your reservation time starts at the scheduled time. We recommend arriving early to ensure you get the full experience.

Sadly, the answer is no. Buckroe Beach has a dog ordinance in effect from Memorial Day weekend until after Labor Day.
Yes, you can bring a small soft cooler with you. However, please note that alcohol consumption while paddling is not allowed.
Yes, they are $10 each for the full day (9:30 AM until 5:00 PM), and there is no hourly rate.
Green Wave Watersports operates from Wednesday to Sunday, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day.

While it’s rare, if you encounter wildlife, maintain a safe distance and avoid feeding or approaching them. Enjoy observing them from a respectful distance and follow any instructions from our staff.
While we don’t provide photography services….yet, you are welcome to bring your camera or GoPro to capture your experience. Just make sure it’s securely attached! We are not responsible for any lost or stolen equipment.
